At the Shoppe we have working on our clients glass table tops and glass shelves. Glass table tops protect your table or furniture surface. Glass shelves are a wonderful way to display your items for a clean look!

The good news is, the flowers are already here. Well, right on the other side of the wall at Oak Gallery, of course! Local artists, including our very own Penny and Brandy, have beautiful greeting cards featuring their work. Some of the cards with floral images are to the right. Perfect for Spring and upcoming Mother’s Day!
This Sunday is the One Year Anniversary of Oak Gallery’s opening and the first Artist Opening of the year!
We will be celebrating with new art, local artists, music, and light refreshments, rain or shine!
Our last event was wonderful with great people and this is the perfect place to pick up some amazing art for your home or fantastic handmade gifts for your friends and family.

This Sunday from 12pm to 3pm Oak Gallery will be having its Gallery opening along with other artists and makers for a great event! This is a great time to pick up wonderful gifts for friends and family, plus accessories to jazz up your New Years outfit! Shop art, accessories (pet & human!), and coffee/tea. Enjoy the new art, music, and light refreshments while you shop. And make a FREE cyanotype at our cyanotype making station!

This is an eventful week with Star Wars Day, Cinco de Mayo, and Mother’s Day! While there is no holiday today, it is Friday which many can appreciate. This has been an eventful week for window repair. Unfortunately a few of our clients have what is know as “failed duals”. This happens when there is a leak in the dual pane glass of your window or sliding door. This will give a cloudy or foggy appearance that you just cannot seem to clean. However, we are here and can replace your glass with a new dual unit allowing you to once again have clear, insulating glass. Or, check out some of our textured or art glass options if you are looking for something more decorative or unique!
And, since Mother’s day is coming up, tomorrow, visit Glass and Mirror Shoppe and Oak Gallery for the Gallery’s Mother’s Day Event! Celebrate the day early with great art, wonderful entertainment, and shop for Sunday from the participating creators!

Last Sunday Oak Gallery had a wonderful grand opening, and we look forward to the future events!
This first week of March has started off well with us working on custom glass shower units for our clients. Many are going for frameless designs with clear or low iron glass (this glass has a reduction in the green tint seen on the sides of glass).
And, for matching your bathrooms fixtures, ur hardware color options are:

This Sunday is the soft opening of Oak Gallery at Glass and Mirror Shoppe! It will be from 12-3pm and feature photographs from local artists for sale and vintage cameras on display! Come see what all this wonderful remodeling has been about and see some wonderful art. You can check out Oak Gallery’s Website here for more information as it is updated.
We have been working on our own art form in glass on the Glass and Mirror side of the building. We have done wonderful stained glass door inserts, textured glass cabinet doors, and are working on this wonderful stained glass overlay underwater scene! Keep following us for more updates and photos.

We hope everyone had a great holiday weekend and we’re able to take time to relax! We gave the Shoppe a bit of a break (lots of hard work on the remodel!) but we were back at it this week. We continue to work on our glass repairs of treasured heirlooms and it is quite a task to keep up with putting these treasures back together! We love to be able to provide this service and appreciate the patience our clients have while we take to the delicate task of repairing their items.

In other news, next weekend on Sunday December 12, Oak Gallery will be having a soft opening feature artwork and antique cameras. Come see how far the remodel has come and appreciate all the beautiful photographic works!
